NOBULL definitely doesn’t scream ‘sweet’ and ‘cute’ which is how Valentine’s Day is usually pitched. Our take on a Valentine’s Day SMU graphic was heavily inspired by a tattoo line art style graphic of roses, thorns and skulls. With this being so quick to market (less than 4 months) we worked with upper color ways we had in stock (black) and felt a more micro scale of the print would suit best and loud and proud on the sock liner. Something more textural from afar but very detailed as you go closer. Below you’ll see the mood board, final repeat & on our trainer.
